I trained as an actor at the Atlantic Theater Company and the London Dramatic Academy and hold my Masters in directing and adaptation from NYU’s Gallatin School. My masters thesis examined how contemporary directors who re-imagine classic texts can viscerally connect with audiences through use of physical theatre, citing works by Mary Zimmerman and Lee Breur. I created a theatre company in NYC to explore de-/re-constructing classics and directing them as highly stylized physical pieces.

I have also taught drama on a sustainable farm in the Czech Republic and integrated theatre into Science and Literacy classes in an elementary school in Denver.

In 2015, I moved to Seattle, looking to the rain and fog to help feed my stories. I like the weather outside to match my gloomy insides.
