Bob (2007)

by Anton Dudley

I immediately identified with Bob, this average guy in an above-average situation. Haven’t we all been caught in a pickle of the most delicate variety, unsure how we got here and unsure how to proceed? Using a sparse set and two-dimensional props, my simple and silly version of poor Bob’s world of “Bob” forced Dudley’s words and eccentric characters to pop. Not until Bob opens his eyes and fights for what he wants do things really start to bloom.
